IEEE Morocco Blockchain Summit
April 25, 2019, INPT, Rabat, Morocco.
Co-located with
Scientific Event on IT – 4th Edition
AMTIC, INPT, and the IEEE Morocco Section, are delighted to announce the organization of the first IEEE Morocco Blockchain Summit, to be held in INPT, Rabat, Morocco, on April 25, 2019.
Blockchain technology has emerged as a revolutionary approach towards strengthening digital trust. This technology is seen as an open and distributed ledger that can record transactions efficiently in a verifiable and permanent way without the need for a third trusted party. It involves and combines various concepts such as cryptography mechanisms, decentralized data, resilience, and digital identity, to harden security and improve trust between implied actors. On the other hand, and despite all these benefits, many drawbacks and open issues are still to be solved, which may be still holding the mass adoption of Blockchain technology in critical organizations and eco-systems.
This event will provide an opportunity for different actors to exchange and discuss research evidence, case studies, opportunities, challenges, and emerging directions related to Blockchain technology. It will include keynote presentations by prominent speakers from around the world, and an interactive panel discussion.
